Will OnTap fit my tap?
Adapters for almost all standard kitchen taps are included.
If none of the adapters fit your tap (rare), we will send additional adapters free of charge.
In the unlikely event that your faucet is not compatible with OnTap, we will provide a refund under our faucet fit guarantee.
Please send us a photo of your faucet on Instagram or via email if you are unsure and would like confirmation for your tap before purchasing.
How does the filter work?
OnTap filters use three primary methods for filtration:
- Micron+ ceramic outer:
- This ceramic outer layer has microscopic pores which allow water to pass while blocking bacteria, parasites etc.
- Activated carbon:
- Activated carbon is the main component (often only component) used in standard filter jugs.
- Activated carbon bonds with contaminants in your water (THMs, pharmaceuticals, etc.), 'absorbing' them from your tap water.
- This later also absorbs chlorine and VOCs which cause poor tasting water.
- Activated alumina:
- Activated alumina is a filtration media specifically designed for fluoride removal.
- Fluoride diffuses into activated alumina via ion exchange, 'absorbing' it from your tap water.
All of our filtration media are tested for quality to ensure adequate filtration.
There are additional layers in our filters to help with function and to separate filtration media from passing to the next stage.

How often should I change the filter?
Our new Ceramic+ filters with fluoride removal last approximate 3 months or until 200L have been filtered.
Opt in for our Smart Refill Plan for the best price on replacement filters and so that you never miss a filter change.
What is the unit made from?
OnTap filter housing as made to last, sustainability is one of our main goals.
Because of this, OnTap is made from 301 food grade stainless steel.
Will it improve the taste of my water?
Yes! OnTap filters out chlorine and other contaminants that contribute to poor tasting water, guaranteed.

Is there a warranty?
Yes, OnTap currently has a lifetime warranty on our filter housing.

What makes OnTap different from other filters?

When will I receive my order?
Shipping times in the ROI are currently 10-12 business days.
It is likely that you will receive your order before this, however, there is high demand and we are optimising our production line.
